This image represents moving forward and being enticed by the bright light to go out and explore.  The miners lamp I feel is an item of safety to guide me if I get lost or things go dark.

I have an emotional  connection with miners lamps, as there has been 3 generations of miners with my dad being the latest in my family.  Growing up in a mining village has bred this attachment.  I collect miners lamps, because I like the feeling of nostalgia when looking at them.
