Exhibition - Layout Final 14 Images

The layout opposite is how the images will be displayed at the exhibition.

The opening image far left will be in A1 size, the following 12 images will be A4 (laid out in two sets of 6), finally the last image completing the series in A1. This will balance the layout symetrically and allow the narrative to flow within the image layout.

The majority of the images will be in colour, however there are 3 images in monochrome. My decision for this, was because the images looked more powerful and dramatic.

There will be an LCD screen on a stand accompanying my exhibition prints. This will play the actual footage of the surveillance taken of me back in 2014.

CYC Printing -

Format, Size, Paper

After printing my final images off in-house using the A1 CYC printer, I decided to order a second set of prints from DS Colour Labs. The CYC printer has a matt finish on standard poster paper. DS Colour Labs use a specialised photographic Lustre finish paper. I am awaiting the return of my order to compare which finish looks the most professional for the exhibition. I will then mount the images on foam board.

Sizing of images is required before sending to print. I used photoshop to resize the image to required the print size, selection 300dpi per inch.

When ordering the DS Colour prints, the colour prints require a DS Colour specific printer profile applied to the jpeg file before saving. This will prevent any slight differences in colour calibration from screen to printer to paper.
