Final Major Project

Here is a selection of miniature doors and windows, represent a fantasy world, that pleases me to look at. I would often think of being a part of this miniature world, full of colour and adventure.
I took this image in my studio using a single studio light with a snoot attached, I like the vibrant colours and the thoughts of being a child playing happily in this fantasy world.
I boosted the saturation and vibrance in photoshop because it reflects my excitement when I daydream of this make believe world.

In contrast to the colour version above, I have changed this into a monochrome sepia edit. This represents how quickly my mood is able to change when a wave of anxiety takes over my body. The colour drains away from my vision, a dark cloud shadows above me and casts a dark grey outlook. I feel fear in my chest and stomach.
The anxiety can be triggered by a certain noise, smell, memory and is difficult to control.
The following miniature figures were taken in a shop, they all have doors and windows, I did not use any flash, therefore the ISO was increased to compensate for lighting conditions.
I think of isolation when I look at this image, the simplicity of living in a lighthouse away from the main stream of life.
Ive often thought if it would solve my anxiety to be completely alone and live a simpler life. To a certain degree I believe it would help, however isolation can lead to depression and I have realised a support network is crucial in coping with mental health

This image of a travellers log cabin is so simple and joyful. When I look at the flowers growing on the window sill it lifts my mood. If I lived in there, it would be so easy to move on and travel somewhere new.
