The images to the right are an example of double exposure photography, this can be achieved in various ways.
If using a film camera, then the process is not to wind the film on to the next negative, but to fool the camera that it has been wound on, by holding in the rewind button.
The more modern approach with digital photography is to merge images together in photoshop.
These two images are creative and activate my mindfulness when looking at them.
The black and white image, pulls my view through the sequence of doors and almost into the persons brain thought process. It takes me somewhere else, I want to continue looking and think.
The farthest right image also draws my gaze, focusing on the brightly lit window and silhouette of the lady. What is she thinking, is anyone watching her from the windows opposite. The the closer portrait image merged into the bright window, is beautiful to look at. It creates a calm feeling in me because its so delicate. In comparison the black and white image has a forceful and powerful effect on me.
